Summer Dominican Republic dolls

To all the many many students, women, men, grandparents, teachers and workers who worked on the Comfort dolls that we brought to La Romana this summer a huge and heartfelt thank you! From those who knitted and crocheted, to those who put the dolls together and gave them their own personalities to those who helped support the project by buying yarn and needles we thank you. It was a gift to hand these out to children that we cannot wait to do again. Please keep them coming!!! As you can see the children loved them, as did the parents!

  1. Hi my name is Cathy Whelehan, email cwheels33@mac.com. My daughter's 5th grade Waldorf class would like to make dolls for kids in La Romana. My family has been visiting La Romana for over 30 years. We would love to be able to deliver them ourselves. Let me know what you think.

I used to volunteer in an orphanage their Casa del Ninos.

    thank you!

  2. Hello:
Why do you want to avoid red? We are going to the DR in June and want to make the dolls to bring with us. Thank you. Laura at lmpwm@aol.com
